As a politicized healer, I am excited about making connection more possible for people. This connection is about coming back to ourselves, to God, to each other, through art, with nature, with community.
With a framework of disability justice and the commitment to a liberated future for all, my offerings are also informed by my own spiritual lineage, in ways that are rooted in Jewish principles of time, cycles, song, mysticism and relationship tending to the more than human world.
I offer spiritual accompaniment to anyone in need of guidance in deepening their relationship to a higher power and bring my experiences as a spiritual leader, ritualist, herbalist, songwriter, teacher and community organizer to the work of spiritual care.
I find myself turning to spiritual care because it brings me great joy to witness people on this spiritual path of re-membering, grieving and wrestling with All That Is. Spiritual care is the act of being present, of getting in touch with our creativity and most authentic selves.
It is an honor to hold space for others who especially care about collective liberation and how we may show up in this moment. I love working with people who live in the margins, people who, for one reason or another, have been made to feel unwelcome in their spiritual communities at some point in their lives. I welcome you as your whole self.
Em lives in middle Tennessee with their dog on the ancestral lands of the Yuchi, Shawnee and East Cherokee people. In addition to having completed training with Still Harbor for spiritual direction, they are also studying davvening (the art of Jewish prayer) and prayer leading.
